Absolutely not! This could well have ruined a good relationship he had with his friend and it certainly would cause you to mistrust him as well and put a dent in your relationship as far as trusting him again. Trust is earned! You seem less concerned about your own feelings and whether he is worth taking back. Make him work for your attention and if he continues on with this text messaging then kick his hide to the curb!
