try rebooting (turn off then back on)
try factory data reset (in security settings or backup & reset settings) BUT THIS WILL ERASE ALL DATA/APPS/CONTACTS/INFO IN THE PHONE AND WILL NEED TO BE REPROGRAMMED BY PROVIDER FOR SERVICE TO WORK
if neither works and you cant return unit then you have what we call a BRICKED device...good for a door stop...junk...
