Ailments in chickens vary so greatly that it's not really possible to diagnose him without more details. There are lots of resources on the internet that will help you diagnose him, and when you do, you can either try to treat him yourself or take him to a vet. Livestock vets generally don't charge as much as pet vets for a check up for a chicken.
