What is the average cost for a Dell battery charger?

Can Nimh batteries can be charged with Nicd charger?

It is always better to use a charger designed to charge a particular battery type. Using a NiCad charger for NiMh batteries or vice versa can cause damage to the charger or batteries, especially if the charger is designed to charge the batteries in under two hours. The worst case is a fire risk. Some charger and battery combinations will work perfectly well together but it is safe to assume that the charger will only be suitable for the battery types stated on it.

Does leaving a battery in a charger after fullt charged damage the battery?

Yes and no. Yes it will damage the life and rechargeability of the battery if its a normal streight through charger. No- if your battery charger has a trinkle charge on it. Trinkle charging is when a battery is fully charged and the charger recognizes this and stops charging and allows the battery to loose some charge and then repeat the process, instead of continuosly shoving power into the battery. Some chargers and most new chargers have this feature built in. And some will say this on the charger itself. But the majority of chargers do not have this feature and you should take the battery off and either let it sit or use the battery until its almost or better yet all the way dead. That is the best way to keep your battery memory fresh and make it last. BIGJ

What is a smart charger for airsoft?

A smart charger is a lot better for your airsoft batteries. It charges your batteries in less than half the time it would take for your batteries on a wall charger. They are also a lot better for your batteries because batteries have memory. Say you have 2000 mAh of energy inside your battery. You use it until it has 1500 mAh left. If you plug it into a standard wall charger, by the time it's done charging, you won't have 2000 mAh of energy, you will have 1500 mAh. A smart charger prevents this. A smart charger also goes on trickle charge when your battery is done charging, so your battery doesn't overcharge or overheat. Trickle charge is when the smart charger creates a equillibrium of battery to charger, so that the charger charges the battery at the same rate that the battery uses energy. To sum it all up: A smart charger is better for your batteries and charges them faster, without damaging them. I personally have one, and it is well worth the money. Also: mAh stands for milliamps. This is the amount of energy storage the battery has. The higher the mAh, the longer the shooting time.

Can a 9 volt battery charger charge a 9.6 volt paintball battery?

Scenario: 9.6v battery ..... ..... ..... 9.0v battery charger. Analogy: 9.6 ounces required in food recipe versus 9.0 ounces actually added. The recipe will fail because it doesn't have all the ingredients required to turn out properly. Synopsis: 9.0v battery charger will never be able to fully charge the 9.6v battery simply because it is only a 9.0v battery charger. Only a 9.6v battery charger will be able to fully charge a 9.6v battery. Additionally, a 9.0v battery charger does not have enough "oomph" to charge the 9.6v battery, so it probably will not even achieve a charge in the battery of 9.0v ... probably closer to 7.0v which will render poorer performance of the item requiring the fully charged 9.6v battery. Chargers must be of equal or better than the rated voltage of the given battery AND must also match the milliwatt rating of the battery. A 12 volt DC car battery is charged at 13.2 to 13.6 volts DC.

Is it better to disconnect a car battery when leaving it for 4 - 5 months?

How long do you charge the M83 Airsoft battery for the first time?

One thing you have to be careful about with AEG's is how long you charge your battery. I don't know the answer but I am going to suggest a basic smart charger that will stop charging the battery once it is at max. A basic Smart Charger goes for about $20 but it is better than over charging a battery and breaking it.
