check the compression
You need to check compression on #6.
Oil burning or loss of compression on any one cylinder. It may also be missing on one cylinder. A compression test will verify this.
Each cylinder needs fuel, compression and spark. You are missing one of those.
Low compression in a cylinder, a burnt valve, loose plug or plug wire, bad injector, bad electronics.
Check the sparks, if not it could be the rocker arms or coils in the engine, get a compression tester, test the compression of the cylinder, if theres no compression. throw a capfull of oil down the hole where the spark plug goes in and redo the test, if the compression goes up, somethings wrong wit the piston and the ring, if not check the cylinder head
Depends on why it is missing. First thing is to replace the spark plugs and plug wires. If it is still missing then run a compression test.
Loss of power, missing, rough idle, check engine light,
Sensor??? A misfire is usually caused by spark plugs and wires. After that you change distributor cap(if equipped) , fuel injectors, check for proper compression.
Do a compression test to determine condition of engine internals
You need fuel, compression and spark to run, you are missing one of those.
pistons are worped
