I'm sure there are plenty... one of them being that 'cats have 9 lives'
Nine.
Cats do not have 7 lives. This is a misconception that comes from a belief that cats have multiple lives due to their perceived agility and ability to escape dangerous situations. In reality, cats have one life just like any other living creature.
Usually they only have a really really really short tail
There are many myths in the world. Stories of gods and goddesses are considered myths, as are stories of creatures like unicorns and dragons. There are also origin myths, such as the Pueblo belief that their tribe climbed to Earth out of another world below this one; and myths to explain natural phenomena like "How the Bear Lost His Tail" and "Why The Kangaroo Has a Pouch."
By definition a myth is not true.
