Verbs are words that show actions - walk / listen or states - love / know.

I know his language so I will speak to him. state verb know / action verb speak.

Adverbs are words that add more information about the verb. - slowly, often, happily there are many types of adverbs. The position of an adverb varies according to the type of adverbs.

The man walked slowly to the window. verb = walked adverb = slowly. The adverb tells us how he walked or in what manner he walked.

Nouns are words that are the names of people places an things. - John / Paris / table / love / strength. Some nouns we can see and touch = concrete nouns. Some nouns eg love we can't see or touch = abstract nouns.

In a basic sentence the word order is subject + verb + object. The verb shows the action or state the subject shows who did the action and the object shows who 'received' the action.

The dog ate the meat. In this sentence dog = subject / ate = verb / meat = object.

In the position of the subject we use nouns (above) = dog. In the position of verb we use the verbs = ateand in the position of object we use nouns = meat.

To use an adverb in this sentence we could say:

The dog quickly ate the meat. quickly is the adverb it tells us more about the verb ate.

Another thing that needs to be considered is the tense - when did the action happen? Verbs show us the tense. For example I walk is present, I walked is past and I will walkis future.

This is for basic English sentences. Below are some more examples.

She walked to school. - past tense. subject = she / verb = walked / object = school

She walks to school often. - present tense / adverb = often / verb = walks / subject = she / object = school.

The class listened quietly to the teacher. - past tense / verb = listened / adverb = quietly / subject = class / object = teacher.

Our family is going to the beach on Saturday. - future tense / verb = is going / subject = our family / object= beach.

adverbs add information about verbs. For example they tellin what manner - quietly gracefully carefully - or how often - never often sometimes - or to what degree - thoroughly, quickly, slowly etc etcSo if you write a basic sentence like:I eat some ice cream after school. Then an adverb can give more information about the verb eat egI usually eat some ice cream after school. The adverb (usually) tells us that the action (eat) happens about 50% of the time.Another example:The policeman arrested the thief. How do you write a full sentence with the words swaying vibration and awaited?

One thing you need to consider are the words nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc. and so decide where they can be placed in a sentence. Are you going to put them all in one sentence or three? I suggest one sentence, something like this: The long awaited train arrived late, with considerable swaying and vibration.
