Optic Nerve :) <3
The nerves that transmit messages from the rods and cones are called optic nerves. Rods and cones are specialized cells in the retina of the eye that detect light and convert it into electrical signals. These signals are then transmitted through the optic nerves to the brain, where they are processed and interpreted as visual information.
Sensory nerve cells called rods and cones are found in the Retina.
Rods and cones are inside a layer of the eyeball called the retina.
Rods and cones are photoreceptors in the eye that allow people to see. Rods allow people to see colors, while cones allow people to see in low light, and in great detail.
Humans have more rods than cones. There are almost 20 times more rods than cones in the human eye.

You find rods and cones in the back of your eye near the retium
Rods and cones are parts of the eye. Cones allow for color vision, while rods allow people to see in very low light.
Rods and cones are nerve tissue contained in the retina.
Rods respond to light while Cones respond to color.
Rods respond to light while Cones respond to color.
rods and cones
There are two types called rods, which a simply sensitive to light and dark, and cones which are sensitive to colours. Both types are found on the retina but the rods dipsersed evenly over the surface whereas cones are concentrated on an area called the fovea.
Rods are a part of the eye that takes in low light. Cones are located in the retina and they are responsible for seeing in color. All mammals have rods and cones in their eyes.
