boy oh boy! anther fine Ford product ! lol I to have the same problem if it is a 2.0 and the code 0320 it is more than likely the crank poistioning sensor the problem then lies with ford there are no values for resitence for this component or much else ford wants you to take it to them for a very expense dignoss where you need a breakout box for anything and several different harnesses instead they want you to check the whole entire circut starting at the ing mod then the pcm then the E E relay and be able to prform a wave pattern also none of this should be nessacerry I have been a pro for several years and decided to move on ( have alot of certs including drivabillity) I know that the code 0320 says ignition input circut fault and thet code for a crank pos senseor is 0335 so if the code 0320 shows up it probly means the ignition mod wich I believe that will take the crank sensor out and that is why you get a 0320 code instead 0f a 035 code the distuber fails car dies smokes crank sensor before the pcm can find it.
my 97 ford probe GT does not start sorry for the mistakes
Is it a brand new distributor ? If not then replace the module and pick-up coil in the distributor that you have.
Check if there is spark and that you have properly installed distributor.
Spark Plug Wires? Remove them 1 at a time from the spark plug to the distributor or the ION pack, remove and replace the spark plug, add the new spark plug wire from the newly added spark plug to the distributor or ION pack.
The spark travels from the coil to the distributor then from the distributor to the plugs. So if you have spark going into the distributor but not coming out to the plugs, I would blame the distributor cap and rotor being at fault.
Unplug all the spark plug wires. then loosen the screws holding the distributor on, remove it, put the new one on and screw it in, then replace the spark plug wires
Try the alternator. The voltage regulator is built into it so if it's not working it's not going to start. Also, is your starter in working order? That could be the problem also
I don't know if your 95 GT is anything like my 90 GL, but when I put my new plug wires and distributor in, the correct order was on the side of the distributor itself. If it isn't, it is in the ford probe repair manual, Haynes edition. You can get it at Autozone for 20 bucks. Seems like a lot for a manual, but sometimes it does come in handy. Hope this helps.AnswerI don't know if your 95 GT is anything like my 90 GL, but when I put my new plug wires and distributor in, the correct order was on the side of the distributor itself. Mark all of the spark plug wires with their respective cylinder numbers. Remove spark plug wires from distributor. Remove 2 screws that retain distributor cap. Using a paint marker, mark the location of the rotor with respect to the distributor housing. Remove the 2 distributor hold down bolts. Pull distributor from engine. Install new distributor in reverse order, being sure to insert the new distributor with the rotor in the same orientation as the one that you took out.
try to get a new ignition rotor
get a new cap and rotor. keep track off where your spark plug wires go. its very easy to repair a distributor.
Replace the spark plugs, spark plug wires, spark plug rotor & distributor, put in new air filter & change the fuel filter.
