There's really not much you can do. I would tell you to stop liking him, but I know how hard it is to stop liking a guy. Sometimes, though, the only way to stop liking a guy is to get rejected by him. I know how odd that sounds, but it'll help you get over him. Besides, the fact that he drinks all the time and smokes weed might be a segue into what kind of guy he is. I'm not saying that all guys who smoke weed and drink are mean and selfish and don't care about you, but some guys who do are. Unless you know his personality, I'd say that you're best not taking the risk.
