You can have up to 8 dog's 3 at your place and 5 at the dog hotel. To get another dog you got to the go out menu then click on shopping then click on kennel (in the middle). At the kennel you can either look and play with dog's or you can buy dog's. You must have more then $600 (dog prices are about $600+) to buy a dog though. When you click on buy you will be shown a list of dog breeds click on the dog breed you like thne click on the dog you want all you have to do then is press confirm (down the bottom) and you will have your dog

my favorite one is westies and friends. i like this one because on that game there are more games. so you can play with your dog. also it makes it possible to have your own room, you can have up to 10 rooms on this game. in westies and friends you can have as many dogs as you want so you can have more than three in your house and more than three in the hotel. its wwwaaaayyyy better than all of the other nintendogs.

I'm sorry to say you can't skip the tutorial on nintendogs. I'ts imposible. You need to teach your dog all that stuff so I suggest you get a pre-owned game of nintendogs and that way you can skip it I suppose.

Ok so the point of Nintendogs is to train your dog, care for it and so on. To buy a dog click "go out" then click "kettle" which is a place where you can buy dogs. But be careful, you only have enough money. One you have bought your dog you must then name it. You have to go throught a cycle of saying your dog's name over and over again into the microphone so tht your dog knows its name. After, you can now sign up for competitions, go for walks, buy items for your pet, and send them to the "dog hotel" where they can rest.

I lost my Nintendogs game, so if this doesn't make sense, it's because I haven't played Nintendogs in forever!
