If the vehicle will not turn over, how are you able to deduct that there is no spark. Until it is turning over the firing will not commence...
possible that the lockout switch is bad.
I have the same problem with my 95 Eagle. It isn't the alternator - I have plenty of power to turn the engine over. I'm not getting any spark to turn over the distributor. The coil in the distributor is good.
If your engine turns over but doesn't start it is either not getting fuel , spark , or air
Type your answer here... will not start to still run
The engine needs fuel, compression and spark to run. You are missing one of those, probably spark.
a number of things read, read the manual, id say the starter or the spark plug
Does it turn over? Does it have spark? Does it have fuel?
No Fuel Or no spark you need to check the spark be taking one spark plug out resting it on the manifold have someone turn over car do not touch spark plug but look at the bottee if you have a spark if not change your distributor cap
If your Honda CRV cranks but won't turn over because the spark plugs are not getting spark, ensure the wires are connected. A loose spark plug wire can cause this issue.
No. It should only spark with the engine turning over.

Disconnect the battery, remove all spark plugs, and turn it over with a socket at the crankshaft.
