[This is from a Nissan/Infiniti (NICO.COM) website]
While the car is off, open the door, and turn the key to the on position and press the door side switch at LEAST 5 times within 7 seconds (personally, I just kept pushing the switch as many times as I could during 7 seconds)
- After doing that, wait one second
- Now move the key to the (1) position (between LOCK & Accessory)
- Close the door, move the key back to the LOCK position and then start the engine.
[This took me a couple of tries, probably want to make sure you don't go past 7 seconds and wait a full second before moving the key again]

I believe that you must bring it to the dealer in order to reset the light I believe that you must bring it to the dealer in order to reset the light
you may have to take the car or truck to a dealership or mech.'s shop to have air bag control module recoded when you unhook it, its as if the air bag was deployed and a new one was installed you would have to have the module reset. what type of vehicle is it that sometimes makes a difference.
go to a mechanic shop and get a scanner plugged in to your vehicles brain
If the light is on, but the airbag hasn't deployed, it need reset by a diagnostics machine which can be found with some independent garages, or the Fiat main dealer. Indies are less expensive, but make sure that you tell them that you aren't paying for it if they can't reset it before letting them at it. If the airbag has deployed, it will need an new body computer as they are "1-shot" systems. If your still having problems, check out www.fiatforum.com
Start the car push the trip button until you get to engine oil and select reset and you are done.
Don't just reset the srs light! It could still be caused by a faulty sensor. I'd take it to the dealership to get it checked out. Airbags can save your life.
