On a 2002 dodge caravan the rear drum is stuck how do you remove it I have beat on it with a hammer but nothing works?

Look behind drum and locate the brake adjustment slot and turn the adjustment until it stops,maybe 20 turns and try again tapping the drum.Now turn the adjustment the opposite direction twice the times you turned it earlier,tap the drum. If at any time the adjuster stops and you can't turn any more see if the drum will move,if not turn the adjuster the other way.Maybe WD40 sprayed on the lug studs will help.
