bank 1 is the drivers side, bank 2 is the passenger side. typically the determining factor for bank designation is the cylinder that is closest to the radiator (because all v-style engines have staggered cylinders) is placed on the bank that is designated as bank 1.
The 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe exhaust diagram, for bank 2, can be obtained from most Chevrolet dealerships. The diagram can also be found in the owners manual.
