I m sorry to say the name insured on a homeowners policy is not usually covered if you husband is out of work due to cancer, you really should check about getting disability from social security.

they will normally cover you if he is going to be out of work for at least 6 months or more.

No. Your homeowners only covers injuries to someone who does not live in the house. This is because this is paid underneath your liability insurance and you cannot be liable against your self.

Can your homeowners insurance be cancelled because a tenant allowed a guest dog over who bit him?

That is a liability issue and generally policies are not cancelled for liability. You of course required your tenants to get renters insurance so their own personal liability insurance would pay.

How is your claim handled if you hit a something in your own yard with your vehicle?

You would have to file an auto claim and a homeowners claim. The damage to your property could not be covered under your auto's liability coverage because an insured cannot be liable against themselves.

Is insurance required for private roads owned by a homeowners association?

Why would you purchase comprehensive general liability insurance?

If you are in a business that involves the risk of accidents, you can be sued for large amounts of money in the event of an accident, therefore you need comprehensive general liability insurance to protect you if you were to lose a large lawsuit. That is incorrect. I had comprehensive general liability on my Motorcycle. Wrecked it an was not covered because I did not have colllision coverage. General Liability covers the injuries, repairs of others involved in a wreck where you are found at fault including property, for the amounts stated in your policy. Also there are statewide minimums for each category. Your vehicle is not covered. If you are hit the other drivers insurance pays for your vehicle, if they are uinsured then your policy pays because you are required to have uninsured protection on your policy. If you wreck your car you do not get it repaired by your insurance company with liability. Comprehensive covers damaged to your vehicle incurred by weather, fire, vandalism, etc.. When you get comprehensive coverage you will select a deductible that you must pay and your insurance will pay the rest. For example: a tree branch falls on your car while it is parked somewhere. Comprehensive coverage is for that.

What does Full Coverage cover?

Full Coverage covers usually refers to having maximum liability, comprehensive and collision coverage on your policy. Maximum liability coverage covers third party injuries and damages when you are found at fault for an accident. It also gives you comprehensive and collision coverage that will cover repairs to your car if you are at fault for the accident, or something out of your control happens (vandalism, hit a deer). It is referred to as full coverage because your assets are covered as well as thrid party assets.

Does homeowners insurance cover a car stolen off your property?

No, Never. An auto theft would have to be covered by the vehicle owners comprehensive auto insurance policy. A homeowners Insurance policy is not liable for the theft of a vehicle. that's what Auto Insurance is for. If an Auto Owner chooses not to purchase a Comprehensive auto Insurance Policy then they assume the risk of a total loss in the event of a theft. The vehicle owner can not seek to shift liability to another person simply because it was on their property when the vehicle was stolen. If this were the case then every time a car is stolen from the parking lot of a store or shopping mall people would expect that business or property owner to pay for their loss.

What is accounts payable considered on trial balance?

Accounts payable is a liability. All payable accounts are considered a liability because it is something you owe another person/company.

Does home insurance covers a visitor car that has tree damages from a storm?

No. Homeowners insurance specifically excludes damage to any motorized vehicles whether they are yours or anyone elses with the exception of a lawn mower used exclusively for maintenance of your lawn. Their auto insurance would have to cover damage to their car in this situation. If they don't have comprehensive coverage then they walk.Another AnalysisWhile the foregoing is true with respect to a first-party analysis of homeowners insurance, there is also a liability portion of that policy (assuming that you do not have a dwelling policy only). The liability coverage under a homeowners policy is designed to cover your legal liability to third parties. Therefore, the analysis goes to whether you had, or should have had, knowledge of a risk factor with respect to a collapse of the tree. If the tree was in danger of collapse, if you knew that fact, and if you did nothing to mitigate the risk, you would likely be found to be negligent-which is what liability insurance is all about. Absent policy language excluding coverage for motor vehicles under any circumstances (your own or anyone else's vehicle), the first analysis above is missing an important element. However, homeowners insurance does, in fact, exclude coverage for the insured's own auto, because different risk factors are involved,

Is it unnecessary to use the word 'fully' with comprehensive?

"fully comprehensive" seems a bit redundant, meaning that it is repetitive because 'comprehensive' implies something has been fully studied or examined, or included, etc.. but, i s'pose there's nothing actually wrong with it.
