Did you only check one cylinder? If you only checked one, you may have just by chance picked a cylinder that was misfiring. The most likely reason to have unburned fuel is if that cylinder isn't burning. Check ignition and compression that cylinder. But I would check the other cylinders first. A misfire may also explain your engine's poor performance.
I checked the compress in the cylinders 125-130 psi is that good?
Check your fuel system.
You don't know how to shift
On my 1991 Firebird 305 TBI the computer shuts down acceleration after 110 mph. I would assume it is probably the same for a 1994.
check for a bad ground
First guess would be the pick up coil in the distributor

you are not closing door hard enough i have this problem on my safari van
Change the fuel filter. If it still does it take it to a garage. try fuel filter possibly new injectors sitting on top of tbi
A skimmer weir is the plastic flap and the opening of the skimmer. It traps leaves that are pulled into the skimmer when the pump is running and then holds the leaves in the skimmer whne the pump shuts down
This may have to do with the fuel filter that resides inside of the fuel tank.My mother had a 1995 Camaro with the exact same problem. You need to drop the fuel tank and change the clogged filter
adjust your idle...the idle screw needs to be pulled left.
No! You can't just give shuts!
