Can be normal if it happens at a traffic light and again once you get moving again. Might still have some air left in the cooling system. Sometimes tricky to get it all out. Just taking the cap off the tank and running it for sometime will help, often times just drive it with eventually get rid of the air.
Hopefully it's not a leaking head gasket!

The 1992 Chevy 3500 temperature sensor is located on the front of the engine. The temperature sensor will be in the vicinity of the thermostat housing.
If it has a 4.3L engine the temp sensor is located next to the thermostat housing.
The 1995 Chevy Silverado coolant sensor is located on the front of the engine. The coolant sensor will be a few inches above the thermostat housing.
The themostat is located in the top rad hose on the engine side, but I don't know about the sensor. In my 91 the coolant temp sensor is in the thermostat housing and the engine temp sensor is on the block.
The thermostat is located below the alternator on the drivers side. The coolant sensor is right above the thermostat.
The temp sensor for the ECM (engine control module) is next to the thermostat housing.
It is located on the left side of the engine (6cyl) next to the thermostat, in order to replace both thermostat or sensor the alternator needs to be removed
The thermostat for a 1999 Chevy Camaro V6 engine can be found under the hood. It is in the right side of the engine, under the throttle sensor.
