Personally I have used Vasaline petroleum jelly on my battery cable connections for many years with no problems
A battery terminal or a battery CABLE terminal. If the terminal is gone or destroyed on the battery, you need a new battery. If the cable terminal is terminal, you can buy an after market replacement or a complete new cable with terminal at most any auto parts store.
DSL is a digital subscriber line provided over traditional telephone lines. Cable internet service is provided over the cable into your home. They are two different types of connections. With each, you will have to set up an account with your provider and be given a modem box to connect.
A L14-20P is a 3 pole 4wire 125/250 volt grounding plug. The four wire (white, red, black and green) cable connection will be, white wire to the W terminal, red to the X terminal, black to the Y terminal and green to the G terminal. The X and Y terminals wires (red and black) can be interchanged so that there is no cross over of the conductors as they protrude from the cable jacket.
it sounds like a loose connection, either to the battery terminal or where the terminal clamp attatches to the cable, tighten the connections and look for excess corrosion, if it still does the same thing take the terminal leads off and clean them with a wire brush.

To use two 12 volt batteries in a 24 volt system they must be wired in series. For this explanation I will refer to them as battery #1 and battery #2. This answer describes the wire connections for a vehicle with a negative ground electrical system. The cable from battery#1 Negative terminal connects to ground (Frame or engine block). The cable from battery#1 Positive terminal connects to Battery #2 Negative terminal. The cable from battery#2 Positive terminal connects to Starter solenoid.
