180, to 210. Anything above that should be considered over heating, and requires attention.

Could be the temp sensor..there could also be an oil pressure sensor at the top, back,or the block.
Follow the metal coolant elbow from the left side of the motor (where the thermostat is) to the right side where it goes into the motor (near the coil), the temp sensor threads into the metal elbow right before it goes into the block.
Whatever temp range the thermostat is, probably 195 degrees.
