No, the opposite case is true.
The first woman (identified as Lillith in the Jewish tradition) was created earlier in Genesis from the dust of the Earth like Adam (Genesis 1: 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.)
Eve was the woman created from Adams rib. (Genesis 2: 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.)
In this set events Lilith was created as Adam's equal and in the same manner as Adam. In the second case Eve was part of a man (indicating his ownership). The purpose of creatig woman was as a help mate for man (his servant or staff) there is no mention of equality.
