First of all the 2.5 is a 4 cylinder not a v-6. the v-6 that came in the shadow es was a 3.0.
The turbo off the 300z will fit on the r32, not the manifold, only the turbo.
yes but u will need to switch trannys and intakes
Power Rangers Turbo - 1997 Shadow Rangers 1-4 was released on: USA: 1 May 1997
you mean naturally aspirated ...and yes you can i have done this on my old dodge daytona you will need a complete turbo wiring harness, computer, and the head off another turbo dodge shadow you will also have to make a hole in the engine block for the oil-drainback tube from the turbo but in all honesty it would be less time consuming to just find a turbo shadow and move over everything that way everything fits because turbo dodges wiring harnesses are different on daytona, omni, shadow, and lebaron turbocharging a n/a block would take a toll on it because the compression is higher and the rods are weaker the rods on the turbo dodges are forged
The short answer is yes, but A LOT of things have to be swapped out. ECU, sensors, dash gauges, complete exhaust system. Your talking about putting in some time and money to make sure everything involved with the turbo taken out and replaced.
I've swapped from 79-82 non-turbo w/o issue. Obviously turbo won't work on N/A cause it has 2 sep connectors instead of one.
My 1992 Dodge Shadow has had a little tune up and it runs about a 10.3 without a turbo. It is packin' a 2.5 Fuel Injection Mopar at its finest. I hope that adds confidence to you other dodge shadow owner/drivers. I beat this dude named Emanuel, he has a Honda Civic and it runs about a 12 withouta turbo .
Yes, they are basically the same engine: BF230. They may have different turbo chargers and a different fuel injection system. They might have different transmissions. I've had a 91, 92 and 93, each year was a little different but I've swapped many parts.
Yes
probly just a vaccum hose If it is a turbo, it could be cooling line for the turbo.
how do i change a water pump in a 1991 dodge shadow with a 2.2 liter does it require an internal water pump
If from the same size engine, then yes. 2.5 and 2.2 Turbos and Non Turbos transmissions will all bolt right up, I currently have my 2.2 non turbo TBI transmission on my 2.5 Turbo engine. It is possible.
