I would like to tell you that ROM stores the programs that are executed when the computer is switched on. It has a program thatactvates RAM and RAM starts its work. ∙ 11y agoThe BIOS contains firmware used to start a personal computer. The BIOS is stored on non- volatile Read Only Memory (ROM) on the motherboard.
In modern computers this ROM is not permanent however. It can be deliberately erased and reprogrammed.
