There is a new program called stykz it is for macs only and it allows you to get stick figures and stuff from droidz.org and its free. So now if you have a mac you dont have to go through the long and complicated process of getting pivot just get stykz at http://stykz.en.softonic.com/ or just type stykz in Google and it should be the second one down.
You can download my port of Pivot to the Mac platform at: http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/40723/pivot It is Intel only and requires Mac OS X 10.5 "Leopard" or later.
Stykz (See links below) is a stick animation application available for the Mac which is equivalent to Pivot Stick.
Pivot only works with the Windows operating system and has not been updated since 2004. Stykz is new software that expands the original Pivot ideas. It is available for Mac OS X, Linux and Windows. (See links below)
yes just simply type in on google : pivot for mac and click the first one
Try the Stykz software. (See links below)
The original Pivot has not been updated since 2004 and was only available for the Windows operating system. It will not work on a Mac but the new Stykz software is available for Mac. Windows and Linux computers. (See links below)
Double clicking a zipped file will unzip it. Be aware that the Pivot stick animation software only works with the Windows operating system and will not work on Mac OS X. However Stykz is similar software available for the Mac that can import some Pivot animations. (See links below)
Well you can, but the program will not work. I have found something that's like pivot except its for macs, its called stykz. P.S.hope this helps:)
yeah you can...go to a website called macupdate.com.Then,search for stykz.
There is currently no version of Pivot for Mac OS X, free or otherwise. An alternative would be Stykz which is available for Mac OS X and is free. (See links below)
Well, yes and no. You can't just download pivot for a mac and then it works. Because it is a .exe file, you need something for your mac that enables you to run those programs. Darwine is an excellent program to do this. Setting it up is very easy. Go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6ABJ8_tMvk to find out how to do so.If you are patient, there is a mac pivot-like program coming out soon. It is called dimp animator, and there is a preview program available for download. It animates very well. www.dimp-animator.comAdditionally, there is another pivot-like program for Mac (and Linux and Windows) that has been released recently. It is frame-based like Pivot, but with a number of additional features you won't find anywhere else! It is very useful because it can work with all your old Pivot animations and you can still download stick figure files from www.droidz.org and use them! Stykz is basically a better pivot, that can use all pivot files and everything. If you're interested, go to www.stykz.net; there's an Intro to Stykz video there that will tell you everything you need to know to get started, and you can download the Release Candidate 4 for Mac from there.
I found a website that let me download this thing called Styx it is just like Pivot. http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/30298/stykz
