5 different. There is a PS3 a PS2 and a PlayStation sometimes called a PS1 there is also a PSP and a PSP Go portable, The PlayStation Move is not a type of PlayStation , but an option for the PS3
The PSP is short for Playstation Portable. It does not have the computer capabilities of the PS2 or the PS3. If you had to chose a console it would be closer to a Playstation than a PS2. But the system was designed to work with the PS3 and had many advanced capabilities not found in the Playstation. Even the new Playstation Vita with the 3G model costing more than a PS3 160 GB model is not a portable PS3. It is not able to play complex PS3 style games although it is much closer than any handheld before it.
No the PS3 does not record DVDs and neither can a DVD player. What could be compatible, the game discs do not play on a DVD player, whether portable or not

The PlayStation Move should be compatible for all SKUs of the PlayStation 3, as long as you have a PlayStation Eye camera. The PlayStation Move was added to the PlayStation 3 with software updates and every PS3 that has installed the Updates can use the Optional PlayStation Move Controller and Eye Camera System for PlayStation Move Capability. If your PS3 does not have the updates you will have to download and install the updates before you can use the PS3 Move with your system.
