.035 for an unmodified 1994 4.3L Vortec ignition system with a distributor. ACDelco CR43TS are the best plugs to use in these, although you could actually get by with a R45TS, they won't last as long as the CR43. Don't waste your time on platinum or iridium because they are mostly designed for higher output coils and even though they last forever, they are not a good choice for this type of system. They can actually inhibit performance in a lower output ignition system, so you would simply be wasting your money and possibly getting less performance out of the engine.

It's .39 to .43
Don't really know because the manual states on 1-43 0.0048 but also states 0.0035
.38-.43 with .40 ideal for idle and highway speeds
Between 40 and 45 on the gap gauge. Start with 40. Try 43 if not happy, then 45. If 40 to 45 does not perform correctly, there is something not right.
You should have them at 40 to 45 with a gap gauge. Try 40 first. Go 43 next, if you are not happy. Anything over 45 would not be good.
