There isn't a camshaft position sensor. If you are asking because of an error code you received, it is caused by a signal that mimics the same signal as a camshaft position sensor.
code 51 is a switch condition signal diagnosis no IDL signal or A/C signal to the ecm when the test connector E1 and TE1 are connected probable cause A/C switch or circuit A/C amplifier neutral start switch (A/T) throttle position sensor throttle position sensor circuit to fix i am not sure what one is wrong but i gave you what it is by my code book
Throttle position sensor signal does not agree with manifold pressure sensor signal.
P0320 (M) No Crank Reference Signal at PCM No reference signal (crankshaft position sensor) detected during engine cranking.P0320 (M) No RPM Signal to PCM (Crankshaft Position Sensor Signal to JTEC) A CKP signal has not been detected at the PCM.The Sensor has failed. Replace the *Cam Position* Sensor in the Distributor.***added by DrStoooopid You're half right. The sensor has failed, but there's two of them.1. Cam position sensor, which is on the front of the engine. (location varies depending on engine)and is most definitely not in the distributor. There IS no distributor in those engines, they're electronically controlled. The cam position sensor sits .30" from one of the camshafts.2. CRANK position sesnor which that code is referencing. The CRANK position sensor is the one that failed. (They usually fail in pairs though). The crank position sensor is harder to get to. It's on the back of the engine, near the transfer case.
From a crankshaft speed/position sensor.
Throttle Position Sensor(TPS)/Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor(APPS) signal voltage high.
code 41 or 25: tps signal abnormal
There is a problem with the cam sensor or the wiring to it.
P1382 = Cylinder Position Sensor 1 No Signal.
The Throttle Sensor responds to the accelerator pedal movement. This sensor is a kind of potentiometer which transforms the Throttle Valve position into output voltage, and emits the voltage signal to the ECU. In addition, the sensor detects the opening and closing speed of the Throttle Valve and feeds the voltage signal to the ECU.
replace cam position sensor
no sgc signal. cam position sensor
