Jews don't celebrate Christmas so there's no need to give us Christmas presents. If the person who's Jewish is a friend, they might even get insulted. Personally, if a friend who wants to give me a gift at this time of year takes the time to give me a Channukah gift or card, I'm truly touched because that really shows how much they care for me as a person (in no way do I expect Channukah gifts from friends, my family doesn't exchange gifts for the holiday).
A couple years ago, a coworker who does cross-stitch made small Christmas themed items for our team and she made a Channukah one for me.
Most branches of Judaism do not celebrate Christmas. They do not believe that Christ is the son of God, so it is a holiday that is outside of their beliefs. However, they do celebrate Hanukkah around the same time of year. On Hanukkah, they still exchange gifts, and they are the same types of gifts that we give each other for Christmas. However, if you want to be respectful to their beliefs, it is better to wrap their gifts in Hanukkah paper, which can be found at stores such as Target. Blue and silver are the traditional Hanukkah colors.
Jews do not have "confirmation". Assuming that you are referring to Bar or Bat Mitzvah, which is the coming-of-age ceremony in Judaism, the appropriate gift depends on your level of relation. An appropriate gift for a friend would be $18 or $36 since the number "18" has special significance among Jews. Obviously if you are a closer friend or a relative, you should give more. Alternatively, you can gift an item of commensurate value.

Gifts are only of minor importance at certain Jewish ceremonies, such as a bar mitzvah or a wedding. They are meant to show love and honor, but they are completely optional.
Yes. There is nothing pagan in origin about wedding gifts or wedding anniversary gifts.
Yes. That would be proper, after all, you are not getting married.
== == Appropriate anniversary gift giving for the first, fifth, tenth, fifteenth, twentieth, twenty-fifth and fiftieth years of marriage. Gifts in the early years of marriage were small remembrances, or tokens, such as paper (1st), wood (5th), and tin (10th). In later years of matrimony, gifts gained value, including crystal (15th), china (20th), silver (25th) and gold (50th). The light-hearted nature of early anniversary gift giving, saying "the paper, wooden and tin presents are seldom anything but jokes but, still mean something to many people. Crystal is the earliest that is likely to be taken seriously by the gift-bearers." {| ! Year |} {| ! Traditional |} {| !
