Pros and cons of hunting animals?

The main reason against whale hunting is to stop the species becoming endangered.

Other reasons are unbalacing the food chain of krill and other sea animals and it's being unfair on the whales

Eating whale meat is also bad ans it contains toxins that affect your reproductive system.

Also It is considered as high status in certain cultures like Japan and Norway. And It is used in most cosmetics and food and lipstick.

We have a limited amount of animals and alimitless number of people that get a kick out of killing things. if we did not ban the practice there would not be a animal lift live on earth in a matter of a few years aside from the odd ones in the zoo. look at what happened to the Buffalo and the passenger pigeon in America

Most wild animal populations are growing at increasing rates. Yet many of their natural predators have been decimated. When this happens, the herds become so big that their environment cannot sustain them, i.e. they begin to run out of food sources. That is when you begin to find starving animals on the brink of death.
It is more humane to harvest animals and keep the herds at sustainable limits. Most hunters consume the meat of animal so it's not wasteful.
