Pop the hood , from ur perspective standing in front of the car
.....reach down on the passenger side of the car (side near the air filter box) and the
drain plug/petcock valve is at the very bottom on the radiator (prob need a flash light to see it) and it drains out of a hole under the shrouding underneath the car (you can't see the drain hole from standing with the hood up, you have to reach look underneath straight under where the hole opens, or once the valve is open you will see the coolant draining), the valve does not come out of the radiator.
Turn it counter clockwise from the 3 o'clock position which it should be at closed to the 12 o'clock position for partial drain........or to the 9 o'clock position to open it completely.
On the lower right of the rad. Sometimes it is easier to remove the lower rad hose.
LOL most likely on the radiator, near the bottom i would imagine If you are facing the vehicle, the petcock is located on the left side bottom of the radiator. It is not easy as it should be to get the petcock to turn. I had to get to it from the passenger side fender. There are sharp metal pieces above the assembly so be careful not to scrape your arm.
Bottom of the radiator.
I usually pull off one end of the lower hose if the radiator petcock is hard to get at or stuck; it is usually easier and it is much faster in most cases.
most are on the bottom left side of the radiator
at the bottom of the radiator
Should be at the lower left corner of the radiator.
The Dodge intrepid will not start after overheating because it blocks the radiator cap.
It is on the overflow bottle.
Locate the radiator cap in the plastic reservoir on the right side of the car like at 2pm location (where 6pm is you standing in front of the car.
It is on the lower driver side of the radiator.
Lower passenger side of the radiator.
