Located under hood passanger side right behind the head light in a little 5X5 plastic black box, it has the Fan Fuse 60amp and 2 relays in it and a few other fuses
The third relay (actually #1) is located on the firewall near the wiper motor. Almost in the middle of the firewall.
Relay #1 comes on when the air conditioner is running, or when the engine coolant temp reaches a set temperature (229 degrees F I think). This puts both fans in series, running them at low speed. At a higher temperature (239 degrees F I think) or when transmission temp reaches 304, the #2 and #3 relays come on in addition to #1 putting the fans in parallel running them both at high speed.
Both fans run together always. Either both off or both on at slow or high speed.
if one fan is running but not the other, there is a problem with the fan or wiring.
Yes All Aurora are a Like 1995-1996-1997-1998-1999
I was told that is on the engine block but I don't know the exact location. i have 98 4.0. i found the sensor on the lower front of the radiator. face your aurora kneel right in front of car and look on lower area of radiator.
The fan relay for 95 for 95 olds Aurora is usually in the engine mounted fuse box. This will mainly be used in regulation of the engine temperature.Ê
Yes it is the cap on the plastic radiator fill tank
frame rear passenger side
The coolant goes into the reservoir only that says coolant. You don't put it in the radiator.
Follow the lower radiator hose on the back of the motor. It is in front of the water pump.
1992 olds Achieva does not have that switch. ECM receive signal from the coolant temperature sensor and send command to relay #6 for turn on/off the radiator fan. Relay #6 is located in the motor compartment on the fireboard.
Where is the location of fuel filter on a 1987 oldsmobile 98?
Thermal relay is stuck. Replace it.
Where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine, you will find the thermostat at that location.
i am replacing the starter on olds 1995 aurora
