You have blown a head gasket or cracked the block you should only add coolant while its still running to prevent this.
yes, if the trans fluid is hitting the exhaust, but not out of the pipes coming from the outside of the pipes.
It is screewed into the exhaust pipe / pipes. Start up at the engine where the exhaust pipes bolt to the engine and work your way down the pipes towards the muffler and you will see it.
That is called condensation. When you start the engine the exhaust system/pipes are cold. When the heat from the engine exhaust passes through the exhaust it makes it sweat. That is normal.
Take the EXHAUST PIPES loose from the engine where they bolt to the exhaust manifolds and pull them down alittle. Then start the engine and see if it runs better.
Start up by the engine were the exhaust pipes hook to the engine and work your way back to the muffler and you will find 4 of them screewed into the exhaust pipes. They are about 4 inches long with an electric wire hooked to them.
They are screewed into the exhaust system / pipes. There should be 4 of them and thay are about 4 inches long with a electrical wire hooked to them. Start at the engine where the exhaust pipes hook to it and work your way back to the muffler and you will see them.
There's 4 on that truck, There about 3 to 4 inches long with an electric wire in the end of them. They are screewed into the exhaust pipe/ pipes. start up at the engine were the pipes hook to the exhaust manifolds and work your way towards the muffler and you will find them.
If you run the engine without pipes , you will inevitably start a fire under the hood from the flames shooting out of the exhaust ports
There is 4 on that year and you will find them screewed into the exhaust system/pipes start up at the engine on both sides were the exhaust pipes bolt to the exhaust manifolds and work your way back to the muffler and you will find all 4 of them. They are about 3 to 4 inches long and have an electric wire coming out of each one.
There is 4 of them on that truck. They are about 3 to 4 inches long and they have an electric wire coming out of the end of them. You will find them screwed into the exhaust system/pipes. Start up were the exhaust pipes bolt to the engine and work your way back to the muffler and you will find all 4 of them.
The black gunk that comes out of the exhaust pipe when starting the car is probably carbon buildup within the exhaust system. Carbon buildup happens when the engine is not burning fuel as efficiently as it can.
If you are looking for the oxygen sensor, I don't know the exact location, but all oxygen sensors are located on the exhaust. Start looking from the manifold and follow the exhaust. They just screw into the exhaust pipes. Some are located on or close to the cadylac converter.
