Check to see whats missing when it won't start. Needs fuel & gas to run.
just change the fuel pressure regulator on a 2007 grand am.
No you dont have to change the fuel pressure regulator unless there was something wrong with it to begin with.
i believe it is under upper part of intake by injectors- not very easy to get to. u sure it has to be changed??
The regulator is part of the fuel pump assembly.
Find the little silver regulator bolted to the fuel rail with a vacuum hose attached. The screws go through the bracket and screw into the regulator. Be careful to have rags to catch the fuel and wear eye protection to keep the gas out of your eyes when it sprays.
In order to change a fuel pressure regulator in a 2000 Ford Contour, start by relieving the pressure from the fuel system. The regulator is part of the fuel pump module. Place the new regulator in position in the engine and tighten any bolts.?æ
You need to take out the fuel tank and the regulator is on the top of the fuel pump
The 1998 Chevrolet Astro Van voltage regulator is part of the alternator. The voltage regulator cannot be individually changed. You will need to change the entire alternator.
You have the change the orifice and the regulator (because LP and Natural gas are at a diffrent pressure). I've used adaptors from a camping suppy store. this is not totally true. If you look at the side of the regulator, it might have a marking on it that says LP/NG. This is an auto adjust on the regulator that you can use a screwdriver to change from one to the other. However if you don't have the markings then it will need to be changed.
The upper intake manifold must be removed to gain access to the fuel pressure regulator.
The pressure regulator is located under the upper intake manifold. Find your fuel lines entering the manifold (right behind where the air enters the manifold)...the pressure regulator is on the bottom side of that cluster*%$. You will need to remove the upper manifold to reach it and change the regulator.
Not unless you BROKE it.
