The reaction of your EGR valve going bad is usually you will get a shot of soot through your heater vents right into your face. To fix that you take a maxi pad and some elmers glue plug up that Soot through Heater Transmit Valve and illuminates all problems. If not run your boost through the cab and put your mouth around it and push the soot back there the Unison Diverted Enclosed Clamp sealer valve part number 112-678-ghj7 and should eliminate all problems.
