In order to change the brake light switch in a Peugeot 307, you must dismantle and access the main light board on the dash and find the connecting switch, thusly flipping it back to the on position.
This is a pressure sensitive switch that controls the oil pressure indicator (light or gauge) on the dash board in the vehicle
Its located on the left side of the steering wheel, on the dash board near the dimmer switch and the head light switch. The base and dhs deville do not have fog lights.

The overdrive light will be off when the overdrive switch is pushed in. If the light flashes then that's a trouble shooting code.
Usually on the upper end almost under dash board
The dash board light dimmer control switch may be turned off or broken.
I recently tried this. Power surges were ruining a security light over the garage. I thought it was overloading the light sensor which turned the light on at night. So I bypassed the circuit board in the light and put a light switch inside the garage. Most CFL bulbs have the starter built-in, and I thought this was the case on this security light. Not so. The circuit board was also the starter. I had to switch to a regular CFL in lieu of using the extremely bright bulbs (without starters) made for this light.
Most brake light switches are mounted to the brake pedal up towards the dash board
It is the brake light switch. The 3rd light has a different switch. GoodluckJoe you can check under neith the bed for fire where they come together. if ther is fire it is the circuit board where your lights go. if there is no fire then its gonna be in the turn signal switch
= An automatic business switch board is know as a?" =
Pull the light switch to the "on" position, then reach up behind the dash board to the back of the headlight switch, which isn't very far up the back of the dash board, feel around on the switch for a spring loaded button on the switch body, push the sring loaded button and pull the switch shaft out. After the switch shaft is out, there is a flat nut with slots cut on the front of it on the outside of the dash holding the switch to the dash board, turn the flat nut CCW to remove the nut. This should release the switch from the dash board, pull switch from the back of the dash, unplug switch.Replace in reverse order.
