The Ford Explorer uses an idle speed control valve that allows air to flow thru the idle air passage inside the intake manifold. When this air passage gets clogged up with carbon or grime it restricts the passage & the result is a loud humming / moaning noise. The repair is to remove idle speed control valve & spray carburetor cleaner or intake cleaner thru air passages inside intake manifold & clean or replace idle speed control valve.
No not really
Amerigo Vespucci wasn't really an explorer - but he was a mapmaker.
The idle air controler valve needs to be replaced. I've got 2 explorers, 98 and 01. It's really easy to replace. Just google 'idle air controler valve explorer replacement' should set you back about $50 at autozone.
One would really have to hear it in order to determine for certain. Are there any particular conditions existing in which the humming occurs? Wheel bearings are a possibility.
She was an aviatrix and record creator, I'm not sure if that really qualifies as an explorer.
Somewhat but not really . You could modify the body and fender mounts to make them work but it would require serious fabrication, lots of welding and experience . There might be some parts in the engine compartment that could work. The two are very simalar but everything on them in comparison is just slightly different.
a humming noise is usually related to the fuel pump about to go. or u just have a really loud fuel pump and everything is fine.
no Dora is hispanic
He was a spanish explorer.
Yes
I have a '91 and I believe they're about the same though. The heater core is back inside the glove compartment. You'll probably have to remove the door/tray itself. To get it out you have to disconnect the coolant hoses going through the firewall (engine side). After that there really shouldn't be much to it.
the family that really sucks and they really suck and the stink too and they do not even care about Dora when she goes on her adventures
