1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. M & M's plain
Blend shortening and sugars. Beat in vanilla and eggs. Sift remaining dry ingredients together. Mix well. Stir in 1/2 M & M's for decorating. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

- Get two peaces of bread some jelly, peanut butter, and a butter knife and a spoon.
- Lay out the two peaces of bread.
- Take the butter knife and spread a layer of peanut butter on both peaces on only one side.
- Then take the spoon and scoop out some jelly and spread it around the bread.
- Put the two peaces of bread together and cut in half in 4ths or in triangles.
