"Leaders" may refer to several ranks and titles so I'll give you as much. Muslims are heavily known for favoring Islamic theocratic styles of governing. Whether it be a country or whether it be your life. Followers of Shia Islam, believe that only descendants of Muhammad can preach Islam. There's one definition of a "Muslim leader'. They are called "caliphs".
If you want to refer to a Muslim preacher, they are called "imams", equivalent to a Christian priest or a Jewish rabbi. Again, those following Sunni Islam simply require that you dedicate your faith to the Islamic ways. Those follwing Shia Islam belive that you have to be a descendant of Muhammad to be an Imam.
The other "leader" you can possibely be refering to is the leader of an Islamic-governed country. Which is calle a "Sultan".
