this is for a 1990 Toyota corolla and probably is a little rough but it works,
first remove all the dash around the ignition barrel.
when you look under the barrel you'll see a small brass button 3mm in size about 60mm from the front without keys this is impossible to push in but understanding what it does will help you with a key inserted and turned to Acc it will freely move and you will be able to remove the whole barrel very easy.
using that as a reference you will need to be forceful without damaging the outer part BE PATIENT if you imagine that you need to push that brass button up find a hole punch or something the same and hammer that sucker up until it's free.
if all is well the barrel should come out easily and fitting your new one is as easy as lining up everything behind you may need to remove the electrical ignition switch to help this process.GOOD LUCK
