Gently pry off plastic covers in door They are held in by clips underneath are speakers held in by 2 or 3 screws remove speakers. Wires should be snap in plugs remove by unsnapping plug-in.Connect snap-in plug wires to new speakers Place new speakers in door slot for speakers,screw back in ,remount cover back in place
remove the grills connect two 3 1/2's (the left will fit VERY TIGHT) but it replaced cardboard and wired into pre made slots for the speakers very easy in the end.
They are five inches in diameter, I accidently purchased six inch speakers for my lebaron and found that they were five inch.
For the 1992 Lebaron Convertable: In-dash speakers are 3 1/2 inches, door speakers are 5 1/4 inches, and the rear seat side panel speakers are 5 1/4 inches. Remove the mesh grille from the speakers, they just pop out. The screws holding the speakers in will then be exposed. Remove these screws and take speakers out.
Need more info - which engine? 2.2/2.5? By 1989 no LeBaron had a carb.

Remove the covers from your 1988 Mercedes-Benz 300 speakers. Remove the speaker retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the speakers.

Remove the dash pad, then remove the speakers from the dash frame. For the rear speakers, open the trunk and remove the brackets, that hold the speakers in place. not for the back speakers ..you have to remove the lower rear seat then remove the seat belts then the rear seat back then remove the header panels in the back seat then remove the deck cover ..the rear speakers are bolted in from the top down under the rear deck cover....and the front speakers i believe are mounted in the door panels in the front doors ..you have to remove the door panels to remove them .some do have them in the dash also if they are there u do as the person stated before me.
