There are Two separate motors for your window washer one for the front one for the rear, they are both in the window screen washer bottle at the bottom.
I also need to bypass the immobilizer on my Laguna. The central lock button on my 1996 Renault laguna doesn't work (open locks) and also the immobilizer light mounted on it is off. Nevertheless, there is power to the button. This led me to believe that there are no signals to or from the control box. Can anyone tell me where the central control box is located?
We have a 2002 S-80. The headlight wipers work automatically when you use your windshield washer fluid to wash your windshield.
This is a complex system to work through. Taking the vehicle to a professional is the best way to get it taken care of.
look at the relays in the fuse box under the bonnet. I had the same problem on my laguna and that was the problem. same fuse / relay box on the espace ( i have one of as well)
The headlight washers are supposed to spray when the windshield ones do. The headlight wipers should also come on. If there is no spray, it is likely because the little tee valve behind the grill is shot. Replacements are available from the dealer amazingly inexpensively. If the wipers don't work, you have a more expensive problem.
To take apart a Renault Laguna key card, start by using a small flat-head screwdriver to gently pry open the seam along the edge of the card. Carefully work your way around to avoid damaging the casing. Once opened, you can access the internal components, including the battery, which can be replaced if necessary. Reassemble the card by snapping the two halves back together securely.
need windshield washer motor
There is an optical sensor (looks like a small bulb) mounted where the rear view mirror is stuck to the windscreen( on the inside), raindrops build up obscuring the sensor the wipers are the triggered

There is no separate control for the headlight wipers. Depending on the year, the washer works several different ways. If it's new, you just need to hold the washer for an additional few seconds and they will engage then. If you have an older model, they will work either every 3rd time you use the windshield washer, ( I've also read every 5th time ),or they have a small reflective square at the bottom of the light and if light reflects back, they will engage. I've also read that the headlights needed to be on for them to work. Something you need two people to check, Hope this helps.
