If I ever rented out a house to anyone, I would ask them to show me that they are responsible owners no matter what breed there dog is. Pit bulls can be amazing dogs, but they attract bad owners who ruin the dogs and give pit bulls a bad name. My friend is renting out his house, and he requires that the renters dog must pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen test.
