The most common problem with heat on these cars is a broken blend door. The dealership will want a fortune to repair it but there is a do it yourself alternative kit out there called the Heater Treater. his is a common problem on 99 to 04 Grand Cherokees. The blend(temp) door actually breaks inside of the dash. The only repair is to remove the dash and ac housing and replace the blend door and recuirculation door. Approximatly a 6 hour job for a pro. == ==
