there are 6 screws on both doors 2 on the left, 2 on the right, 1 on the back of the door handle, and 1 one on the door grab, the last one is tricky you gotta remove the top first to access the screw. Once you have removed the screws you should try to pull the door towards you, they're approximately 8 or 9 rivets they should pop right out. Now, once that is out you should locate the left speaker on the bottom right hand side of the left door, and on the right door is located on the bottom left hand side. After you have located the speaker you should find four screws around the speaker, remove them. Now take the speaker out and unplug it by pressing the clip and pulling it out and replace it with your new speaker,(IF THE SPEAKER IS NOT A STOCK YOU WILL NEED TO CUT THE WIRES FROM THE CONNECTORS AND THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO WIRE THE (+)POSITIVE AND (-)NEGATIVE WIRES TO YOUR NEW SPEAKER.
Remove the inside door panel from your 1996 Dodge Avenger. Remove the door handle linkage. Remove the door handle retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new door handle.
on the bottom of the inner door frame there is a little nub sticking out with two screws. you have to unscrew them and pull the nub out and replace it with a new one
Pull off the door panel, unscrew the stock/old 6.5 inch speaker, disconnect the speaker wiring and connect the new speaker. Screw the speaker in the hole in the door and replace the door panel.
