the fuel line from the tank to the engine bay runs from the bottom of the fuel tank, down the inside of the tunnel that houses the shifting mechanism, and exits out the top of the transmission mount. as far as replacing it is concerned...the fuel line from the front of the body until the exit at the transmission mount is metal, and shouldn't need to be replaced; but if you do find it necessary to replace it you're looking at a lot of cutting and welding.
Good luck!!
unhook the line from the gas tank and unbolt it from the fuel pump and rip it out, take the old line to the parts store so they can measure it and they will give you enough line to do the job.
If I had to replace a fuel line I would get a replacement out of a car in a wrecking yard and install that.
Most likely the clamp on the fuel line has worn through the line - check the fittings and perhaps replace fuel line
On the fuel line at the carburetor. there is a small fuel filter.
No you do not.
NO!
I would remove the fuel line and hold it over a container while cranking the engine over; I suspect you may find a weak fuel pump that needs replacement. I hope this helps you. Mark u may have low fuel pressure to.
Follow the fuel line from the top of the engine back to the firewall. The fuel line will go to the top of the fuel filter on the firewall.
If I remember correctly it may be the fuel filter. but if it is the line it is easy to replace .
it is in the fuel tank on mine not in the fuel line outside the tank
you need fuel line quick disconnets
Dirty or clogged carburetor. Or air leak in fuel line at fittings and connections. Either way a lack of fuel to the cylinders. Weak fuel pump. Clean or rebuild your carbs. Check or replace fuel line. Replace fuel pump.
