NO!
if its high pressure no you will need the metal lines with the high compression fittings. hope this helps
You can not use rubber fuel lines to replace the current brake lines due to the high operating pressure. You will need to replace them with brake lines, the rubber brake lines has a different construction to hold the pressure and not getting eaten away by the brake fluid, brake lines can hold over 2000psi when the pedal is heavily applied
it can be done with only fuel hose. i have done it when fuel lines have needed spliced or a few feet needed replacing. never had a problem after that either. auto parts sell it by the foot. very affordable Not knowing what vehicle you have, be careful, some fuel systems require more than 60 psi. Some aftermarket rubber fuel lines may not handle that pressure.
its electronic... that's why you cant find it its built into the fuel pump yes it is attached to the fuel pump but can be changed independantly The fuel pressure regulator is a little metal can with a rubber diaphragm and coil spring in it clipped onto the fuel pump assembly inside the fuel tank. To replace, the fuel tank should be less than 50% full, but it is not necessary to remove the tank from the car.
how to replace fuel tank pressure sensor pontiac gran prix 1997
Replace it. If it is a metal section cut it with someting that will not make sparks or heat. Metal snips or somthing along that line will work but they distort the line, so you will have to bend it back into shape. Then take rubber fuel line and two clamps and replace the bad section. It shoul work for a while. Or you can replace the whole line.
If the fuel line is the metal line and bent then it needs to be replaced with an exact replacement to fit properly. If its the rubber line then the line can be bought by the foot at a local auto parts.
You will need to replace the fuel pump and filter, The fuel pump is what makes the pressure.
replace the rubber o rings u may have to replace the injector if its leaking fuel through it
It is located in the drivers side frame rail. It is hidden behind a metal debris guard. Twist off the black fuel bowl of the filter housing (after you have relieved the fuel pressure) and replace the disk filter and o-ring.
Just because you hear the fuel pump running does not mean it is pumping. You could also have a clogged fuel filter. Have the fuel pressure checked. In some cars like a '90 Lemans the fuel pump is connected to another metal tube on the fuel pump mount, by a small rubber tube about 1" long. Over time the rubber breaks down. The fuel pump will work, but little or no fuel will go to the engine. Pull pump assembly and replace the tube for a couple of pennies.
a leaky injector or a cylinder that is not firing dose your fuel pressure bleed off when the jeep is sitting if so check your fuel pressure after the jeep is shut off if it falls off then find the rubber fuel line to the fuel rail and get the jeep running to aquire fuel pressure and turn the jeep off and quickly clamp the rubber fuel line off if the fuel pressure still falls off it is an injector bleeding pressure
