not sure what your exact cause is but i recently had the same issue and had to replace the transmission. if that is the route you have to take i recomend using a performa built trans. they have a nice selection of transmisions that are in all respects new and remanufactored to higher performance standards than the factory transmissions are are priced very competively at $1650 for the transmission, the tourque converter and a trans cooler. they also have a very good warranty of 2 years and after the warranty is up if it breaks they will rebuild it for $950 and then give you a new warranty. I have used many new and rebuilt units in the past and must say these are by far the best i have found hope this helps.
Sounds like the magnets!
Change the brake switch located where the brake pedal is, a little above. Done!
I have the same problem in a 1999 K2500 with the LT package. Any ideas?
I have a 1999 GMC Suburban with the same problem but it did not show up until I had removed all of the wiring harness from the engine for a cylinder head job. I am going to look at the throttle position sensor and wiring connector tonight.
my suburban wont start
cuz it wont silly!
a lot of factors to consider... will the engine rotate at all?
it will drive but when in reverse it wont move
Mine started right up.... Are you sure you are not talking about my Suburban?
