If it has center hold-downs on the rocker covers, it's probably a roller cam.
Take off one of the valve covers, if the rocker has a roller tip on the side which it touches the valve spring then its a roller, if no roller tip is present then its a normal tappet rocker.
In most cases either will work. but you know how you are building your engine so you should know better then I do whats best. NO!!! if you have the serial # of the cam get ahold of comp cams and they can tell you if it is a roller or flat tappit cam they are totaly diffrent cams and WILL NOT INTERCHANGE LIFTERS
a flat note is slightly lower than a normal note. You can tell the difference on a bassoon with E and E flat.
Mobil 1 High Mileage Full Synthetic 10w40, You MUST add a bottle of ZDDP zinc additive to the oil or the flat tappet cams go flat. Tell ALL your friends!!!! You don't have to change oil for 15k miles. Really! Puralator makes good stuff.
The slope of a roller coaster describes how steep the roller coaster is. Knowing the angle of the slope will tell you how steep a roller coaster is.
If your tappet cover is perished, you will clearly see leaking oil coming from the join of the head to the block. If you clean the area thoroughly, you will notice with a day or so of normal running if you have a leak.
Ride it yourself and tell them how much fun it is.
to tell you the truth i dont know
The M1840 has a flat back. The M1860 has a rounded back. That's the best way to tell. TK
Tappet,i.e.,Lifters, can be found at a Nissan Dealer. They would be able to tell you the actual size.
Brakes are a device fitted on every car to slow or stop it. A dynamometer is a large device that a car can drive onto with drive wheels on a roller and it will tell speed and power of car.
