Scrap price of a catalac converter 2008 ford focus?

I had a company truck 2007 Dodge 2500 with a 6.7 Cummins Diesel that had the DPF (part of the emissions system) removed with a Sawzall by a Meth Head while it was at the Dealership.

when the DPF was removed this POS managed to cut the flanges off of the Down Pipe and what amounts to the Catalytic Converter on an emissions controlled diesel.

The total cost to legally repair the truck would have been just over $8,300.00 and since this truck had 310,000 miles insurance totaled the truck which ran and drove perfectly.

I doubt that the POS got more than $150.00 for that DPF, to this day I’d love to catch that POS in a dark alley or out in the woods so I could “educate” him on the “error of his ways”
