Target Marketing.
In business, a target group of people can be seniors citizens, teens and/or toddlers, for example. The target groups are people an organization directs its advertising message to, and these people are likely to purchase the organization's product or service. Target groups help with an organization's mission, use of resources and long-term goals. It's a matter of survival for an organization to figure-out its target group/ market. If an organization pin-points the wrong target groups than it can't make a profit or fulfill its business mission.

Team outputs often cater to specific needs or projects, targeting particular stakeholders or user groups, while the organization's customers encompass a broader audience that benefits from the overall products or services offered. Additionally, team-focused customers may prioritize different aspects, such as quality or innovation, compared to the organization's wider objectives. This distinction helps ensure that both team and organizational goals are met effectively.

If you mean centralized organization forming a 'Geocentric' approach. it is simply visible that you can control the whole organization from a single head office and the branding and adverts might be used to market the products keeping in mind the changes of different cultural aspects. If you mean centralized company operations in a single company operated by some directors or so, it is simply visible they can question any one and every one, together or one by one and get to know the progress of each department individually or by groups.
